I think Burt means 14.10. I'm not sure where Glenn went looking but if
you go to https://ubuntu-mate.org/utopic/ you'll see that 14.04 is a
Long Term Supported (LTS) release, so it is still current and supported.
14.10 is the current release, and as you noted, 15.04 is in beta. 15.10
will be coming up in October.
