There are certainly plenty of apps where one must back tab to get at things. Rhythmbox can be a bit sluggish
to load and switch between lists of
podcasts, but does always work for me. I will be installing it actually in a few minutes, and although I am
using gpodder these days, mostly because it
lets you import opml files instead of having to enter each feed by hand, I may set up rhythmbox to check a
few opf my favorite feeds, so if you stil l
have trouble in a couple of days I can walk through things with you, step by stepl.

How do I navigate podcasts in Rhythmbox using Orca?
I seem to get stuck when tabbing and have to do a CTRL Tab to switch to
something else and if I am lucky to find the podcasts heading in the table,
I can't expand to view all my podcasts I am subscribed to or their eppisodes
and might only see one podcast on the screen for some reason so arrowing
down doesn't take me down my podcasts or list of episodes.
