Re: [orca-list] Virt-manager

I guess I was not clear. I do not want to use VirtualBox. I want to use KVM. I don't think VirtualBox uses the KVM kernel module. Even if it does, I still prefer KVM because it has the -curses option and I'm more familiar with it.

As it turns out, I installed virt-manager and it is very accessible. It appears to do what I'm after, but I haven't actually set up a test system yet. Creating a new VM seems to be simple and straightforward, allowing me to import a CD or disk image. I don't know yet about sound card and network setup, but from what I've read about it, these shouldn't be issues.

You do not want to manage Virtualbox Yourself and develop GTK based GUI for
managing virtual machines in Python or C++, it will be best to use Oracle VM
VirtualBox. May be, that somebody have allready write alternative gui for
this application, but I do not try to find it. I do not have serious issues
with QT based solution from Oracle.
And they do their best to make accessible GUI, but QT developers do not have
time and energy to create so reliable QT accessibility like GTK can provide
for developers and new users.
