Re: [orca-list] Introducing my self and my first question

Hello,

I've not used Ubuntu 15.04 but I've not seen this with other linux distributions such as ubuntu mate, sonar or arch linux.

In your case how much frequently does this happen?
Is there a specific text which you think affects eSpeak behaviour?
Or can you give steps to reproduce?

Greetings

Peter

Hello.

Yes, I know, but in Ubuntu 15.04 there are problems with espeak. He speaks normal and in the middle of reading very fast.

Hello,
Most of the speech dispatcher development has been done within this period by Braillcom developers. They have passed speech dispatcher development since that time and now speech dispatcher is a community project led by Luke Yelavich. Its latest version 0.8.3 has been released just a little while ago this year so It's still alive, being activelly maintained and included in all major distributions.

I think this is not worrying.

Greetings

Peter

Good morning.

My name is Vojtěch Šmiro and I am from the Czech Republic.

I really like Linux and screenreader Orca. For me it is a best system.

I have got first question:
what about Speech dispatcher? I am afraid of we will have no voices in Linux distributions, because Speech dispatcher has copiright 2002-2012, but what another years? We have year 2015 and nothing new with speech dispatcher. On what will be Orca speak?

thanks for your answer.

Regards

Vojta.
