If you find pre installed laptops with Ubuntu and you want customer
service with Ubuntu then go for it.
Unity that comes defualt with Ubuntu is very accessible these days.
Top menu with volume, system, network etc all work well.
Notifications are announced good enough.
On top of this all apps are good.
Firefox is very accessible and performant these days.
The dash is also working now.
having said that, Gnome is also doing very well so no harm using any
distro which comes with it by default.
Happy hacking.

Dear List,, I am considering giving linux a go, but I lack understanding of the platform. What are the most
orca accessible mainstream distributions of linux? Is vinux more accessible than the mainstream stuff? What
does orca master mean and how do you access it? Is the gnome desktop environment more accessible than the
unity desktop environment? I think the only pre installed linux laptops I can find in the uk run ubuntu. I
would be grateful for any advice you can give me.
Kind Regards, Lee
