Dear list, discussion on linux accessibility is very healthy. Ofcourse linux is the only platform which is free and open-source. If it is not accessible, let the world be ashamed of it. We the activists do whatever we could do. Firefox is the most difficult of all the softwares and that is perfect with orca as joani and the team work very hard. Then all other software can be made accessible easily. From my part, me and nalin have made tuxtype and tuxmaths accessible, made xboard the chess program accessible and also, have made a beautiful braille environment in linux by developing ibus-sharada-braille for typing text using six keys which is already in debian repository. THESE things are not there in any other platform. So let us try hard.World will be free one day. |
