Re: [orca-list] Fedora 21 alpha question concerning "super" or "Windows" key

Thanks! I tried upgrading with yum using the live DVD, but so far that has failed. (Obviously, it would have been temporary even if I'd succeeded.) At least, I know what the problem was.

Hey Al.

If in a terminal you do gnome-shell --version, what do you get? If you
get something less than 3.14.0, then you may be seeing this GNOME Shell
bug which has since been fixed:

I'm using F21 via upgrade from F20, I have gnome-shell 3.14.0, and Orca
says "window" when I press the super key.

Greetings!

I played with the alpha Fedora 21 a little today, suing a DVD I burned.
I noticed that when I used the "super" key to get to where I'd type a
command, Orca did not say "window" as it does on my usual setup--and as
it has with previous versions of Fedora. Sometimes I knew where I was,
a few times not. Has anybody noticed this, or know whether this is a
new gnome problem, Orca problem, Fedora problem, or something else?

Thanks!

Al
