Thank you Joanie. I can't wait till monday, i love gnome. gnome 3.13 is
more responsive than 3.12, so 3.14 should be great

Hey Hadi.
It's because the commit was done after the latest unstable GNOME
release. The fix will be included in the 3.14.0 release which has not
been done yet. 3.14.0 will be released Monday. After that, then Arch
(along with all other distros shipping GNOME) will need to pick up that
release.

Hi Joanie
Thanks for this, amazing stuff!
I'm fully updated on the gnome-unstable repo of arch, but i'm still
getting the bug on me. Is this because the repo is not updated yet, or
the bug patch is not pushed into the main application?
Sorry if this question sounds a very newbish one.

Hey Hadi.
That was a bug in gnome-shell; not Orca. It has already been fixed:

Hello all.
Today, i began to test gnome unstable which is in arch repo. I simply
upgraded my gnome installation.
There seems to be a serious bug with orca and gnome shell; however, I
have no idea how and where should i report this.
When using alt tab to switch applications, or when using control+alt+tab
to switch to different parts of gnome, Orca will not announce the names
of the elements.
So, my keyboard focus actually works, but Orca will not talk about what
window or part i am landed.
after i release the shortcut keys, my keyboard focus drop to the window
or application, and everything works as expected.
Any help would be appreciated with this regarding how to report this
bug, or If this bug is already reported, please let me know.
Thank you!
Cheers
Hadi
