Hello, Glenn.
A topic of this nature would probably be a good topic to take to the AccessibleFreedom Support mailing list. Here is the e-mail address for that list:
support accessiblefreedom org
I hope that this is helpful.

Hi Glenn.
As I think others here will tell you, I tend to be pretty liberal when
it comes to "off-topic" posts and to posts which arguably belong on
distro-specific accessibility lists. My reason for doing so is that it's
not always easy to know if the issue is with Orca, or with the
accessibility of the desktop environment, or with something the distro
did or failed to do.... As long as the topic is related to accessing
stuff with Orca, I generally view it as relevant enough to be
appropriate for this list.
Having said that, I do not believe what you are asking below falls into
that category. I would ask that you (and anyone responding to you) move
this discussion elsewhere.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi All,
I am now working on getting Linux into my Asus 701 netbook.
It currently has XP on it.
Since it only has a 4GB SDD inside, I thought that I'd try Lubuntu 14.04.
It won't boot, as its kernel won't boot to the Intel processor inside.
Is there an easy solution to this, or if not, I'm wondering about the latest
Debian based distro that will boot up.
I was considering Arch, but I want a GUI.
Any suggestions?
I will be using Orca.
Thanks.
