Hello,
I think we might have a conflict between two related features here.
When page loads in firefox, orca forces browse mode on page load. When 
the focus is changed via javascript or other means orca activates focus 
mode.
This might be a timing issue. And orca most likelly silently switches to 
browse mode after google search widget triggered automatic focus mode 
change.
