Actually, swt is the only true thing I have personally encountered that is truly accessible cross-platform.
WXwidgets is accessible in Windows after a fashion but, I have had many difficulties with text area widgets
in Linux. So, I am not sure Wxwidgets is a good idea if you are going for cross-platform a11y. Java SWT has
a great success record with Eclipse being the application you can use as an example. It is accessible on
Windows, Mac and Linux. None of the Wxwidgets apps I've tried including Geanny, Code::blocks, codelite, and
Audacity can say the same. Audacity is the best so far.

Offtopic, but
How would GTK work for Windows users? We currently have the problem of some software we use is written in GTK
and therefore one of our customer's blind employees has to switch from Windows to Linux simply to use it.
While it has its issues, I thought Qt was the only thing possibly accessible cross-platform? (assuming Qt5
and properly-written software and all that...).
