hi all
I've noticed a couple of minor issues with mate's notification daemon,
and thought I'd list them here. For starters, orca cannot read the
notifications unless you add 'mate-daemon-notification':
'notification-daemon' to script_manager.py, and restart orca. That's
easily fixable. I've also noticed an issue with notifications in
general that I'm not sure how to solve. If you ahve a keyboard
shortcut for presenting a list of notifications, I have one bound to
orca+n, orca cannot seem to get a list of notifications unless
notify-osd is installed. No others work. Mate's, gnome's, all otehrs
report no notifications, even if there has just been a notification.
Is this a bug in orca, or does notify-osd store notifications
somewhere that orca can get to, while the others do not? How can I
provide debug info that will help? debug log? accerciser?
Thanks
Kendell clark
