Re: [orca-list] gedit 3.12 and accessability with orca

Well, now after reinstalling gedit 3.12 and plugins things do mostly work
. For some reason before when I pressed the menu button things either went silent or read an incomplete list.
This is surely much less efficient for me having most functions in one very long list, at least where no
keyboard shortcut exists, or for functions where one doesn't use them enough to remember the keystroke; but,
it's certainly usable...
Very glad to see this/thanks again for the help.

While we're talking about gedit, I notice that I cannot read anything
on the status bar. I would like to see row/column numbers and insert
status. I can't recall if row/column info is available or not but
surely the insert status info should be. When I try to read with flat
review keys, I can't find anything. I think there is a status bar
object or image or something but I can't read it. is there a way to do
this or is this another bug in gedit and object exposure?
