While we're talking about gedit, I notice that I cannot read anything
on the status bar. I would like to see row/column numbers and insert
status. I can't recall if row/column info is available or not but
surely the insert status info should be. When I try to read with flat
review keys, I can't find anything. I think there is a status bar
object or image or something but I can't read it. is there a way to do
this or is this another bug in gedit and object exposure?
