One additional note:
I was using orca3.10.2 stable, but just decided to give master a shot, orca --version now says 3.13 pre; and
behavior is unchanged.
If it matters, I'm using xfce on Arch-linux.
I'll test as soon as I swap out disks on Vinux, and will probably start multibooting again soon so that some
comparisons can be done with out undue stress on my hardware that's not exactly designed for regular
component swapping, not even hdd...lol
Thanks.

I find application specific orca settings quite useful and probably have a half a dozen programs configured
at least a bit differently from the system wide settings on this machine. The app-specific-settings work
correctly when using the default profile, but when I switch to another profile neither the original app
specific settings are respected, nor is a new settings file used by orca it seems. I create, apply and OK
the settings for a program. A 2nd file for the program is created, i.e. 33 seems to be the code for the
default profile, and 34 for the new one for an alternative profile. The changes in settings do not even
show up in orca prefs when I go back to check them. I've repeated several times, including after reboots. I
can switch back to the profile called default and the app settings work. I've tried renaming my original
app-specific settings with the 34 but again, no change from system wie settings when I run the progrtam in
question.
Is this a known issue? Is there any work around other than using only one profile?
If there is any output that would be helpful, please let me know and I'll send it along, and if this is not
been already dealt with I'll file my first bug.
Thanks
