hi
This sounds like you've got the language in your ubuntu machine set to UK english. This will also cause trash
to be
replaced with wastebasket. I have no idea at all how to change it back, but try searching for language in
unity or
gnome. There should be an options in the control center to change it.
Thanks

Hi,
i reinstall ubuntu yesterday and then do an upgrade sudo apt-get upgrade
then when the process is complete, i suddently relize that, orca says
"ticked" on checkboxes rather than "checked". in my other machine though,
orca says checked. when i check the version of orca, orca+h, both says
3.10.3. Any idea?
thanks much!
