[orca-list] Ubuntu 13.10 i386 live

Hi,
I am trying out Orca 13.10 from my SD card, the live version.
On the first window, where the bongos patter, I press control + S
and Orca starts talking, so I select "Try Ubuntu"
Then after pressing enter, it seems like it goes into Ubuntu, but I never 
get any more sound.
I think Orca might come up after I press alt + F2, and type "orca".
But no sound.
I do control + alt + T
and type
sudo speaker-test -c 2
and still nothing.
Is there something I can do at this point to get the audio working?
