[orca-list] Updating Orca

Hello everyone

I am very new to Linux, and am running it through a Virtual Machine. Could someone please advise me whether 
running system updates will update Orca, ATK and ASSPI — I think that is what the other to dependencies are 
called?

When I tried to use Orca with LibreOffice yesterday on my friend's VM, the main text area was not accessible 
with Orca. Hence my question.
