Hello,
Indentation cares almost everywhere in python. These lines have to have 
no indentation. I suggest to put them either to the beginning or to the 
end of a file to avoid possible conflicts with other bits of the code.
I  don't know how you have inserted them into the file but in your email 
message both of them are indented and indentation differes. If you have 
put them into the file like this then it is verry well possible you've 
accidentally caused a conflict.

Setting is working fine and it really does what is advertised.
