Hi,
I think this is not an Orca bug but change in Gedit menus.
When I press F10 key, I can tab through several buttons and at the end,
there is an radio button called "Menu" which opens menu for me.
I can press Escape to get again to those buttons. To get out of this
strange menu, just tab to the "menu" radio box and press Tab once more
and then down arrow.

Hi all.
Using gedit 3.12 with all updates and orca from master try the following:
1. Launch gedit.
2. After it is loaded press the f10 key.
3. Press right and left arrow to explore the menu shown by gedit.
4. Now try to close the menu using escape.
Nothing happen, the menu is not closed and you can not edit the file.
Seems that you need to execute some function presented in the menu or
use the review mode and click in any part of the file.
Thanks.
