Ubuntu always has a Gnome version.  You just need to do sudo apt-get install
gnome or gnome-shell to put it on there.  It what I did on 13.10.  I found
the Unity 3d desktop it came with unusable with its patchy accessibility.  I
still like lightdm though.

And it seems Ubuntu will have a gnome version this time also.
I am just downloading the beta2 of trusti (14.04 gnome version).
Let's see what they have out there.
would like to know some basic commands though? such as how to access the
list of applications, how to add and remove from the favorite list (like
launcher pain in unity ) and how to access wifi and other items.
These much commands are sufficient to get to the rest.
