Re: [orca-list] Heads-up: installation location

Yes, I had this problem once. I installed using a .deb package and Orca was
installed in usr/share/orca. Then, I decided to build from source and it
got installed in /usr/local/orca. It didn't overwrite the one in /usr/share
so, I had to do an apt-purge. That screwed with all kinds of stuff
including a talking gdm prompt and other stuff like that. It was before I
knew anything about simlinks which I would now use to fix the problem if I
encountered it again but, it was pretty annoying there for a minute. Will
this 64-bit-related fix also have the added benefit of keeping the issue I
described from happening to 32 bit people?

<snip>
The reason I'm mentioning it here is that in the past there have been weird,
unreproducible by others, bugs reported here which in the end turned out to
be multiple orcas being installed on the user's system.
