If I remember right, don't you need a working set of eyeballs to get
through part of the Fedora installation. Did that change?

Big +1 for Arch. Fedora would be my second choice, but you will need a
pre-release build to get the latest GNOME for now. Fedora 20 isn't due
out until next month I think. The Fedora installer is much easier to get
through than the Arch installer though.
