Re: [orca-list] Orca gets stuck in lists

Hello,
Unfortunatelly this happens from Firefox 25 to Firefox 27 nightly. I haven't yet found when this has started but I will test builds one after the other to figure this out. Also navigating by word inside the list is broken. For example while reading the first item, moving forward a word with ctrl+right arrow I can hear the last word from the first list item and then moving further forward a word jumps straight to the last item and I can hear the last word of the last list item in a given list.

I assumed Mozilla guys have unit test for a lot of things but as I am seeing more and more issues with Mozilla products under linux I am afraid accessibility work targets mailny other platforms.

Greetings

Peter

Hello,
I am running Firefox 24 on Arch linux with Orca 3.10.1 and this is not
happening for me.
However at times I can notice firefox stuck in some paragraphs however I
am unable to come up with a reproducible case so I haven't posted about
it yet.

I'll try upgrading to Firefox 25 to see if I can reproduce this.

Greetings

Peter

Hi all.
I don't know if this is related to orca or firefox 25.

To reproduce try the following steps using firefox 25, I am not sure
if the same happens with firefox 24.

1. Go to http://www.williamhart.info/an-emberjs-beginners-tutorial.html

2. After the page is loaded press ctrl+home.

3. Press l to go to the first list.

4. Try to read line by line using the down arrow key.

On my machine orca always comes back to the beginning of the list.

This is with orca 3.10 and orca 3.11.

I'll downgrade FF to version 24 to check if the problem also occurs.
Thanks.
