There has been confirmation from the arch-general list. GNOME 3.8 is not
completely built in gnome-unstable, and is therefore not ready for
testing. A notification will be issued, either on arch-general, on
arch-dev-public or both as soon as it is complete and ready for early
testing. IIRC, there should be a notification as soon as it's complete
in gnome-unstable, followed by a subsequent notification when it hits
testing. Hope this helps.
