Hello all!
I have fixed my X-server problem finally, an unresolved dependency (no
evdev).
but now Orca hangs during installation. I can start:
orca -t
from within a gnome session and I get the first choice about the speech
output. But it repeats "Please enter a number, enter choice" indefinitely.
there are a couple of errors. From xkbcomp (which is supposedly non-fatal)
and from GNOME I get stuff about colour depth being indeterminable. Also
there's one message about network not being found
(dbus-org.freedesktop.NetworkManager or something). the package is install
(both dbus and the GNOME applet forthe network manager).
I have installed the full gnome group/bundle and all necessary
Xorg-components should be there.
Did anyone else experience this sort of trouble or can someone hazard a good
guess, why this might be?
Warm regards and thanks in advance
Julien
