Hi Krishnakant,
As has been said on list before installing Voxin on an Ubuntu system
is fairly painless. Download the archive sent to you by Oralux using
the link in the e-mail. Unpack the tarball. Finally run the
install_voxin.sh script and its done. Restart yor system and Orca will
come up talking with Voxin. Its as easy as that.
However, yes, Eloquence AKA Voxin, is proprietary. It costs a nominal
fee of $6.00 USD per language which isn't extremely expensive. Much
less than say the voices sold by Cepstral or some other commercial TTS
vender.

I herd voxin once.
Keeping the foss vs proprietary software issue aside, I never liked the
voice of eloquence just as people don't like espeak.
Espeak is much clear in pronunciation, afterall it is a matter of taist
as they say.
But I am really curious, is it really a matter of downloading the
archive and ...?
I herd it is proprietary?
Happy hacking.
Krishnakant.
