Mangler is a conferencing tool. It's a bit different from Skype in that when you join a conference you have to push to talk, i.e. you hold down your push-to-talk key to speak and release it when you're done talking.

Ventrilo is not a side of Mumble;
There's a GNU/Linux Ventrilo client called mangler.  The server and client
side of Mumble are free software While Mangler might be free, the server
side of Ventrilo is not.
