Hi,

/*
The only issue I have about arch is of security and also that it can't
be used for day to day work.
I wonder how often one breaks a system in arch, preventing it to be a
regular prime time distro.
*/
After about 1.75 years of Arch usage, the only 2 bigger issues were
the switch from Gnome2 to Gnome3 and later to Gnome3.1; even the
switch from sysvinit to systemd (which had been discussed a lot on the
corresponding mailing lists) was done after 1 hour or so without
booting problems or something like that. If you don't use the testing
repository or re-build all your packages, it is imho no problem to do
your daily work and use an up-to-date system. You can even upgrade to
testing and later switch back to stable by removing the testing repo
from the pacman configuration without too much trouble...AS I
remember, this has never worked properly with apt* in Debian/Ubuntu.
Which conserns about security do you mean? If the lack of package
verification: This has been fixed about 1 year ago.
Another question: As I remember, there were issues in the past with
Python3 and braille support. Is it possible to use Orca3.7.x with
braille right now?

Cheers,
Jakob
