Orca works quite well for me with12.04
except libre office calc's strange behaviours...

Hi Glen,
This is really strange.
I found Ubuntu 12.04 so accessible that I was rather bugged when it
was declared that Ubuntu will not support unity 2d after 12.04.
I guess you are rightly logging out and then selecting Ubuntu 2d from
the options?
Did you install Ubuntu on a previously installed machine?
I saw the same issues as you report when I installed 12.04 on a
machine with 10.10 on it.
Besides, getting gnome classic on 12.04 is not a difficult task.
Happy hacking.

Hi,
I have been trying to get Ubuntu 12.04 working, and it is terrible
with Orca
from my experience.
So I'm wondering, is the straight Debian package working with Orca?
And, will I be able to call up Orca after booting up in a live
session, or
will I need to do an apt-get for Orca?
I'm not fond of Vinux because it uses older packages of Debian, and
there is
just too much adaptation for me.
One of the problems I had with Ubuntu 12.04 was when I logged out to
try to
switch to Unity-2D, I could never log back in.
