Re: [orca-list] Latex and LibreOffice on ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Really? Fascinating! I have heard about Latex beamer but haven't found anyone who has actually used it
until now. Do you use it for proposals and such? Have you ever taught a class with it featuring lecture
notes, screen shots and graphs? How did you get the presentation up? Did you use a pdf and some sort of
paging software to only have one slide up at a time? Very intriguing!

I use latex-beamer for many top level presentations.
But pdf accessibility of Orca is not present right now so it becomes kind of a barrier.
Happy hacking.

This might not fit here, but why not use LaTeX Beamer for presentations?

That's a very good idea. An accessible PDF viewer would make it much
easier, though. What you really want is to display the presentation
under X with a PDF viewer, with sufficient access that you can read
the titles of the slides (and, if necessary, their contents) as you proceed.
