Hello all,
I am pleasantly surprised and excited to inform you all that when I did
a sudo apt-get upgrade for getting latest ubdates for my Ubuntu Precise
on the testing pen drive, I saw Firefox greatly improved in terms of
accessibility.
The breaking news for me was that form fields (called entry fields ) now
echo what I type by word.
Not just that, it also echoes back the charactters if I press backspece
without a glitch what so ever.
navigating in forms and lists of links or in other places is
outstandingly smooth and quick.
What must have happened suddenly for all this to work so perfectly?
Have the ff guys taken up the patches?
With that I wish to also know if thunderbird will also have the save
improvements now that firefox has got it right?
I only hope that this is now sustained.
I just note one small irritating factor, which I am very sure will be
ironed out when the final or perhaps the beta2 comes out.
I have to logout and log back in once for having the alt + f10 based top
menu to work well with Orca.
else all other things are really great.
Happy hacking.
Krishnakant.
