Re: [orca-list] Gnome 3.4 and Desktop Sounds

Hi,

I opened terminal and typed
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.sound event-sounds 'true'
logged out and back in. I'm still not getting any sound effects when a
checkbox is checked, a dialog prompt pops up, etc. I've checked and
there are definitely sounds in
/usr/share/sounds/ubuntu
but Gnome acts like the Ubuntu desktop sound theme doesn't exist, or
that the sounds are still disabled. Is this perhaps a bug in Gnome
3.4.1 or is the feature now completely disabled?

Cheers!

Thomas, you would like sounds for example a check box check/uncheck, a

If you set the org.gnome.desktop.sound event-sounds GSetting key with
true value, you will be hear sounds this actions.
I don't no how can possible associate custom sounds this events with GUI
vai.
The gnome-tweak-tool not support this possibility?
