Re: [orca-list] Flash freezes orca

Hey there Andy, Virtualbox is a good program for installing Windows in a VM. It also supports sharing files between host and VM, so you will have access. This also gives me a chance to give kudos to people working on qt accessibility. This morning, I was able to independently create a vm on my Ubuntu precise partition, for installing Windows, all via the gui, which would have been impossible before Ubuntu 11.10. Nice thing about Virtualbox is though, you can create and manage vm's through the command line, if you prefer that approach. I have used XP and windows 7 in a vm, and both run extremely well. Any questions, feel free to E-mail me off list, and I'll help you.

Later,

Guy

I have a problem. Our school uses massive amounts of flash on their website (or the flash they do use) crashes orca in firefox. I have been trying to figure out a way round this so i can get my assignments done, but haven't quite figured it out yet. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the problem?
