What is required in order to build and install orca from source?
I would like to try it and see if i sucseed.

If you install Debian Stable you'll get Gnome 2.30 and a corresponding

of Orca. Or you could wait a little until the Gnome 3.2 and AT-SPI 2
transition is sorted out.
