Hello, everyone.
I am very sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but it does not
seem as though there are many blind fedora users who populate the Fedora
mailing list.
While I like Ubuntu, I am finding that a lot of the
accessibility-related packages are out of date. I have been testing out
Fedora 16 in a live session, and I love how quickly it runs on my
system. And by looking around, it seems as though packages related to
accessibility (such as qt-at-spi) are more up-to-date.
My question is this: Is there an accessible way to navigate through the
firstboot appliatin that runs after Fedora is isntalled andthe live
system rebooted?
I know that there is a Speakup Modified Fedora version, but the last I
checked it was Fedora 13, whereas fedora 16 is now available. I would go
this route, but I have absolutely no experience on how to upgrade to
Fedora 16 from Fedora 13. So, if there are any fedora users on this
list, how did you get past the firstboot application?
Thanks for any help.
Take care.
