What I've found in that regard, is that IE works far better with NVDA, than 
Firefox does.

Unfortunately what I'm also finding since switching to Debian, is that NVDA 
works far better with IE, than Orca works with Iceweazle.  Or, for that matter, 
than older Orca worked with Firefox under Ubuntu.
