Hi Andy,
Well, that's more or less a resource issue. I've seen machines where a
person can run a virtual machine with very little lag, but it was on a
system with a very fast processor and a lot of ram. The trouble with
running a virtual machine with Windows 7 being the host operating system
is that the host requires a huge amount of resources to run, and I've
found that Windows 7 only works good with a 2 GHZ duel core processor or
better and no less than 2 GB of ram. So if someone wants to run Linux
side by side with Windows 7 they need at least a 2 GHZ duel core
processor and about 4 GB of ram just to get started. Where with
something like Windows XP you can cut those requirements in half.
