Hi William,

What Ubi basically does is create a Windows swap file and installs Ubuntu into that swap file. The advantage here is it doesn't require resizing your Windows partition etc, but it will run slightly slower than if Ubuntu was installed to a native partition. However, other than the fact it is running in a swap file Ubuntu is basically independent of Windows 7. Just let your netbook boot to the Grub boot loader prompt, and select Ubuntu from the list and it will boot into Ubuntu.

also the issue i  have  with my netbook is to make the f keys behave as regular f keys i have to press my fn 
key not sure how to stop this behaviour and i assume it iwll effect orca
