[orca-list] orca and thunderbird

Ok, so a couple questions here.

Orca doesn't read the current line when i tell it to in thunderbird. 
Instead, it reads the menue bar. Is there a way around this? ideally i'd 
rather not have to arrow up and back down to read my current line.

Also, it would be kind of nice if you didn't have to hit enter then tab 
to read an email, it seems as though it'd be more ideal if focus just 
jumped to the email's text.
