Re: [orca-list] What the actual status with GNOME Shell 3.2 accessibility support?

Hi,

I also tried it out within the last days and was at least able to see
active windows (with alt+tab) which was not the case in earlier
versions. Anyway, it is still not an environment i want to work with
because:
* Many elements of the (so called) shell are still not accessible,
e.g. I am not able to see the name of applications I start with alt+f2.
* Notifications (e.g. battery state information, on/off state in
Pidgin...) are not read.
* ...and many other things
Apart from this I am still not convinced of this new concept, i.e.
don't know how I would explain it to new users I am supporting with
Linux. If the fallback mode would be dropped one day, I myself could
cope with it right now, but thats all.

Cheers,
Jakob
