[orca-list] orca, gnome terminal, and curses based software

How do people handle things like this? I just made an attempt to set up 
freebsd in a vm for some testing and hit a brick wall. i couldn't read 
current line to figure out where i was in the installer and things of 
that nature. If i was using speakup, i could use hilight tracking, and 
follow the installer semi-easily least enough to get through it. So what 
i'm asking is how is something like this handled in orca, or is it 
simpley not possible?
