Hy,
I try testing only source building Orca and development Liblouis
version, because I would like determining why happening following
interesting bug:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=651264
I would like determining this bug is a Liblouis or Brltty related issue,
or Orca issue, so I would like using latest sources to test this bug. I
don't understand Orca contracted braille feature why sending 4567 dot
combination with braille display if I write _ character or ly letter
exception, I defined only the 456 dot combination my nev development
contraction table. Other six dots based dot combinations is working full
right.
Unfortunately, after I removed all factory installed Liblouis related
packages my Ubuntu Lucid system and recompiled Liblouis related
development sources and Orca, I see following traceback error message
the Orca debug output, Orca contracted braille feature unfortunately not
working now my system:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/orca/braille.py", line
1706, in _brlAPIKeyReader
key = _brlAPI.readKey(False)
File "brlapi.pyx", line 529, in brlapi.Connection.readKey
OperationError: Invalid packet on Write request of size 169 (76 00 00 00
00 00 00 01 00 00 00 46 00 00 00 49)
I doed the source compilations with following manual based:
http://live.gnome.org/Orca/Braille
I newer see this type traceback error message. What can I mistake?
I very hopefuly not need reinstalling my system, please help if you have
a little time.
I using Ubuntu Lucid, latest Orca master development version and Latest
Liblouis trunk version.
Attila
