Re: [orca-list] capitalization

As for the pitch changes, that does work with Espeak also. Now
concerning the CapsLock key, that works OK on a desktop layout but not
on laptops - especially if the CapsLock key is used as the Orca
modifier key. On most laptops, like mine, the insert key is so okward
to use and way out of the way for normal use, the CapsLock is the only
way to go but when used to modify Orca, the value of caps lock is not
spoken and I have been bitten numerous times by this!

Hi Matthew,

Yes, you can set how much to increase the pitch for upper case
letters. On the speech tab in the Orca preferences there is a combo
box where you can select default upper case, or hyperlink. Down arrow
to upper case, tab to the pitch slider, adjust the pitch to whatever
sounds good to you, and hit ok to save it.

Hi.
Is there a way to adjust this?
Either I'm tone deaf or orca isn't doing this properly for me.
Thanks.
