Hi, I had an idea and tested that it would infact happen. If you have a fresh install you may not have the gconf key /desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility set. However firefox isstill a gtk2appand checks the gconf key and the enviroment variable GNOME_ACCESSIBILITY to see if accessibility support should be enabled. So, I think you need to either set the gconf key I mentioned or set GNOME_ACCESSIBILITY in your enviroment before running firefox. Trev On Sat, Jul 02, 2011 at 06:23:50PM +0200, Christian wrote:
Hi all, Well, I am getting tired on this, but I can still not get Firefox to work with the latest Orca git, v3.1.3pre on my Arch system. I have only updated Orca now, nothing else after I installed Gnome. The only thing I did was to remove gnome-shell. Using Firefox5 from the Arch repository. Everything is working here except for that. Should atspi2 be updated as well, or not?
