Hi
I have to start Orca by hand, since automatic startup doesn't work. This 
does lead me to suspect something odd in the startup procedures, but I'm 
not sure what exactly. However, I've noticed a pattern as follows:
If Orca is started before any gtk apps, then the panel will always speak 
and no apps will. If, however, I start Orca after a GTK app such as 
nautilus or gnome-terminal, then it literally alternates. The first 
time, the GTK apps will speak and the panel will not. The second time, 
the panel will speak but the apps won't. It's a reproduceable pattern 
every time. Again, xul-based apps are unaffected and always work no 
matter what. I've created two orca debug.out files, one for each situation.
How do you start at-spi2 by hand? If I know that, maybe it'll help me 
figure out what's going on here.
