I just tried inserting and deleting rows in a table I had in a test
document with OOo Writer 3.4 and I didn't have any problems with Orca
disclosing the new rows. Now I was having some trouble with Orca
saying "blank" and the cursor not advancing to the next cell but that
seemed to be an intermitten problem that I will have to document
separately. But the changing of the number of rows in a table seemed
to update properly for me. I didn't do other extensive tests yet but
so far, I didn't have real problems with Orca. I didn't try adding a
new row at the bottom of a table yet, but I might run up some more
detailed testing later today when I have more time.

Hi,
The problem occurs when any change like inserting and deleting rows
and column, or changing the size of the table etc. is being done.
After making the change, if I arrowed up or down to know the result,
orca is silent there. After saving the table and reopened, the orca
will announce the correct position. Hope now the problem is more
clear.

I'm confused by what you say here. When you say change, do you mean
changes to Orca's settings or do you mean text as you type. I've
worked with tables in OOo Writer and found them to be quite
effective. I haven't played too much with them lately but I recall a
problem in the past when inserting new rows at the bottom as you tab
at the end of athe last current row. But I think that was fixed
recently so could you clarify with an example or something and I'll
see if I can be of more help.

Hello,
I am new to the ubuntu and orca. So pardon me if I am asking a
previously answered question. after creating a table in the
open office word processor, and if any change is being made,
orca does not announce the result at once, rather the
application has to be saved and reopened to know the result.
Is there any solution to this problem?
