[orca-list] n82 and ubuntu

I have tried to connect my N82 to my PC running Ubuntu Lucid only I am
not getting any message from Orca that it has been recognised although
the dealer for my mobile phone assures me that my cable for my phone
isn't faulty.
Also I tried removing my Micro SD card and using my card reader to read
my card for my mobile with the same result, no message from Orca about
it having been recognised.
Should Micro SD cards be supported as I am not getting any spoken
messages indicating recognition of either my phone being connected to my
USB port or recognition of my Micro SD card.
I tried both the small slots on my card reader where I think my SD card
might fit and it seems to fit in firmly in the ones I have tried.
My standard SD cards I have do work when I insert them in my reader and
I connect it to the USB port because it shows up as a drive and I can
explore it and see the files.
