Hi,
Just out of curiousity I tried the command line version. It didn't work for me. Here's the command I used, do you know what's wrong with it?
id="NijaGeIO18Y";mplayer -fs http://youtube.com/get_video.php?video_id=$id\&t=$(curl -s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=$id | sed -n 's/.*, "t": "\([^"]*\)", .*/\1/p')
I think Youtube may have changed their url format slightly, it keeps giving 404 errors and file not found.
Also, with the Totem plugin, it finds videos but when trying to play them it gives an error about permission. I am still using Lucid though, so that may be the problem, but I just haven't gotten around to upgrading to Maverick yet.
Thanks
Storm.

Or drive it from the command line over mplayer. See:
