Hi Luke
Do you still need someone to work on this? I use ubuntu as my main distro
and am currently using Lucid. I don't use ubiquity (obviously since I did
not know the script was broke either) but I can see what I can do in my
"spare time". Gives me a good reason to dive into orca scripting.

Heh.
BTW Luke, my guess is that the script you attached hasn't worked in
years. One of the things about the refactor is that I created a
utilities class for scripts. Here's the history:

So the new world order is really the way-old world order with some
improvements and tweaks based on what we learned.
I am not surprised that it probably doesn't even work, and new world orders like that are always interesting.
This line from your script:
util.getDisplayedText(obj.child(n)):
Didn't get outdated/broken as the result of the recent refactor; it got
outdated/broken by the one three or four years ago.
Heh, again as I said, my knowledge of Orca internals is non-existant, and I have not the time to learn them
at this point in time. If I spent more time on accessibility for Ubuntu, I'd pursue more internal Orca
knowledge, however that is not to be.
